Original Artwork
Inspired by my own photographs, my artwork is drawn directly from the animals I encountered while working as a safari guide in South Africa, Botswana, and Zimbabwe.
Each piece follows a creative journey that blends mixed-media techniques, from painting and sketching to layering and texturing with oil pastels. Every artwork is carefully created using gallery-standard art materials.

Caran D'ach Luminance Colour Pencils. These pencils have a very high pigment intensity and purity and are resistance to UV light, making them last a lifetime.
Sennelier Oil pastels. These pastels are packed with an exceptionally high pigment content, giving them remarkable colouring and covering power, vibrant brightness, and excellent lightfastness.
Water based Oil Paint. This paint is just like oil paint, however it's the type of solvent used in the paint that makes the difference between oil and water based paints. Oil based paints use mineral turpentine in the makeup of the paint solvent, while water based paints use mainly water in their solvent.

We do not frame any work. Prints have a white boarder around the artwork which can help with framing.
