Returns & Refunds Policy

At I Am Wild at Art, we want you to feel confident when purchasing. Please read the following policy carefully, as it explains when returns, refunds, and exchanges are possible.

Returns

Our return policy is valid for 28 days from the date of delivery.
If more than 28 days have passed, unfortunately we cannot offer a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unused

  • Items must be in the same condition as received

  • Items must be returned in their original packaging

Order Cancellations (Non-Fault Items)

If you wish to cancel an order that is not damaged, defective, or incorrect:

  • You must notify us within 14 days of receiving your order

  • The item must be returned within 7 days of notification

  • The item must meet the return condition requirements above

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or refunded:

  • Free gifts or promotional items

  • Gift cards

  • Personalised products (customised with a name, message, or specific request)

  • Commissioned artwork (art created specifically for you)

These items are exempt from return due to their personalised nature.

How to Start a Return

To initiate a return, please complete the form at the top of this page with:

  • Your email address

  • Order details

  • Reason for return

We will respond with return instructions.

Partial Refunds (If Applicable)

Partial refunds may be issued for:

  • Items showing signs of use

  • Items returned damaged or incomplete (not due to our error)

  • Items returned outside the 28-day return window

Refunds (If Approved)

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • We will email you to confirm receipt

  • You will be notified if your refund is approved or rejected

If approved:

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method

  • Processing may take up to 14 days

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund:

  1. Check your bank account again

  2. Contact your credit card provider (processing times vary)

  3. Contact your bank

Sale Items

Only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds.
Sale items are non-refundable.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are damaged or defective.

To request an exchange:

  • Or submit the return form on this page

Exchanges are for the same item only, subject to availability.

Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable

  • Replacement items typically arrive within 7–10 days, depending on location

For high-value items, we strongly recommend:

  • Using a trackable shipping service

  • Purchasing shipping insurance

We cannot guarantee receipt of returned items. Refunds or exchanges can only be issued once the original item has been received.
