White Lion Cub

This illustration holds a special place in my heart, as it captures the unforgettable moment we first encountered a beautiful mother lioness with her three cubs. Her deep, unwavering love was clear as she licked and cuddled her little ones. The cubs, playful and full of boundless energy, climbed over her and pawed for her attention, creating a scene of pure joy.

To our amazement, one of the cubs was an extraordinarily rare white lion. This remarkable little one inherited its pale colouring from a recessive gene carried by the mother, making the moment even more extraordinary. I felt compelled to capture this once-in-a-lifetime sight in an illustration, as I may never witness anything quite so magical again.
